See our FacebookEvery Monday we introduce a core book which is then shared throughout the week. The books are available for the children to access independently as well as being read to at group carpet time sessions, alongside many other books. 📖📖
The children become very familiar with the core book which range from traditional tales, to information books, developing a love of reading and storytelling. 🗣
We also learn a core poem each month that we focus on alongside learning lots of nursery rhymes and poems. The core book title and poem will be written on the white board outside of Preschool for your information and to talk about with your child.
Please encourage your child to sing the core poem at home with you! Reading, singing and poetry promote literacy skills, language development, listening and attention, personal, social and emotional skills and so much more 🥰

In the morning, please drop off any wellies you may have that your children have grown out of. Then....after school, you can pick up a pair of wellies which will fit your child better! It's that easy ✅
A few things to note:
🟣Pre-loved wellies should be clean and in good, wearable condition.
🔵If you have outgrown wellies to donate but do not need another pair, we would still be very grateful for your donation.
🟢 If your child needs a pair of wellies but you do not have any pre-loved wellies to donate, you are very welcome to choose a pair in exchange for a £1 donation (cash only).
🟡All money raised will go towards supporting outdoor learning opportunities for our children.
