See our FacebookThey made very quick work of burying Mrs Martin and Mrs Rundle under the leaves and were keen to make their own leaf beds. This was a fabulous activity for gross motor development as well as discussions about Autumn and the changing seasons.

We are very excited for our Low noise fireworks display tomorrow evening (Wednesday) at Locking Primary School
Gates will open at 5pm - entrance through Lime Close gates only.
We will have:
🍔 food van serving burgers/hot dogs (allergen alternatives available).
🍪 FOLS cafe serving hot drinks and a well-stocked tuck shop.
🍻Bar serving cans of various soft drinks and alcoholic beverages.
🍭 Sweets and Toys stall selling various Glow/Flashy toys and sweets including candy floss and sweet cones.
All of the above will be card and cash 💷💳
This is a ticketed event. Please do not arrive if you don’t have a pre-purchased ticket. No tickets will be available to purchase on the gates. Any remaining tickets after we sell tomorrow at drop off/pick up will be at the Coach House Pub to purchase (cash only).
Strictly no sparklers to be brought onto site.
No alcohol to be brought on site. Any alcohol purchased on site must be consumed on site.
A final reminder it is a Low Noise display not a NO noise display 🤩
Lastly, the top car park will remain closed due to the fireworks being set off from that area. Please park legally and considerately around the village.

We will not send children to cars without an adult at the gate, even if the car is parked close. This is an important part of our safeguarding procedures.

Just a few key reminders:
🏀PE days have changed - please check the poster shown in the photos.
🥪The lunch menu is ready to order from on School Grid - we're starting on Week 3 (make it make sense!)
🥾Wherever possible, ensure that your child has wellies or a spare pair of trainers in school so we can play outside as often as possible.
📸It is school photo day so all children need to be in school uniform (with trainers if it's a PE day)
See you first thing on Tuesday morning - gates open at 8.30!

Here's some important things to remember:
🐿️All children must be in school uniform - if it's a PE day, just pop them in trainers (as these aren't seen in the photos)
💚If you have a child who isn't yet in school (which includes Meadow and Orchard rooms) and you would like sibling photos taken, please come to the hall for 8.30am - this is likely to be busy so please bear with us!
🌟If your child is attending pre-school breakfast club but you would like sibling photos taken, please email the pre-school team so we have this on our radar to catch up with during the day.
🤸♀️If there are siblings in Reception-Year 6 only, we will manage these photos being taken throughout the day. You can just bring children to school as normal and we'll ensure the sibling group photos are taken.
🎟Children will then receive a slip with a unique QR code on which will give you access to the photos within a couple of days.
