Resilience Reps

At Locking we understand the importance of developing resilience to build confidence and self esteem. Youth Shoots works alongside the 'Diana award',  and they trained 30 pupils in years 5 and 6 to become resilience reps with the aim that they will develop peer-led wellbeing initiatives for the wider school, supporting the development of mental wellbeing and online safety across the whole school. 

The learning outcomes for our resilience reps :
I can name different feelings and say how I feel.
I understand how my actions affect me and others.
I can help myself and friends with feelings and emotions.
I know how to balance my time between different activities.
I am confident to ask for help and share what I know to support others
