Transitions

At Locking we want you to be excited for the next step in your child's learning journey but we understand that for pupils and their families, moving from one phase of education to another can cause worry and anxiety. 

To help you support your child we hold transition meetings for families leaving EYFS and joining year one in KS1 and for families leaving year two and joining year three in KS2. 

Teachers and Phase leaders plan carefully the changes in September so your child has a stepping stone into the next phase and feels supported.
